  • We want your shopping experience to be easy, fun, and satisfying. Unused or defective merchandise can be returned and refunded as described on this page.

Shipping Charges:
  • Your shipping/handling fee is determined by the parcel's weight and destination. Value is also considered for insurance purposes only. Some orders are shipped in multiple parcels.
Shipping Policies:
  • At this time AvidBirding.com will only ship to the residential or business billing address associated with your credit card. We cannot ship to post office boxes, hotels, motels, or resorts. Shipments to leased private mail boxes will be reviewed for acceptance on a case by case basis.
  • Our preferred methods of shipment are UPS and Federal Express. Items delivered directly by manufacturers may be sent by other methods such as USPS. All deliveries are subject to the policies and procedures of the carrier in addition to the policies of AvidBirding.com.
  • For the purpose of shipping, business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
Return Policy:
  • At AvidBirding.com, our goal is to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If, for whatever reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 calendar days of receipt of item(s). Claims for damaged or missing items must be received within two business days of receipt of merchandise.
  • You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the full amount of the original purchase price. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. Exchange requests will be subject to merchandise availability.
  • All returned or exchanged items must be in new condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
  • Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 15%.
How to return or exchange an item:
  • To return an item please call Customer Service at (636) 399-2127 or email sales@avidbirding.com to obtain an RMA number before returning the merchandise. We will send a return authorization confirmation to the email address provided at the time the order was placed. The RMA number is valid for 10 business days. Deliveries of merchandise returned without an RMA will not be accepted.
  • Please place the original package into a shipping carton. Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect. Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the merchandise packaging.
  • The RMA number must be clearly written on the outer shipping box. If you received a label in the RMA confirmation email, please print the label and tape it to the outer shipping box.
  • We will provide the return address at the time the RMA number is issued. Except for defective merchandise, return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Lost or damaged packages are the responsibility of the shipping agent, not Avid Birding, however we will gladly provide any assistance needed to resolve these situations.
  • AvidBirding.com Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only and are not redeemable for cash.
